THE KIDS' LOADOUT

The Valkyrie.

iCOMBAT Valkyrie

A real iCOMBAT rifle, not a plastic toy — and at 3 lbs 4 oz with the battery in, light enough for a six-year-old to carry through a full hour of missions. The bullpup body keeps the weight at the back, so it stays balanced in small hands and turns fast in tight corners.

Three infrared sensors — one on the front, two on the sides with multi-colour LEDs, so a kid can see their own team colour the whole game. Haptic feedback in the body and a speaker on the side mean a hit is felt as well as heard; nobody has to argue about whether they were tagged.

The reload handle sits on the side within easy reach, and the LCD screen and keypad show health, ammo and team at a glance. Staff size and program each rifle during gear-up, so every player walks into the arena with a unit set for their age and mission.

Older siblings and teens can take the full-size tactical rifle instead — 11 lbs, electronic recoil, firing sounds. Mixed-age parties run both loadouts in the same mission.

No projectiles, ever

The whole system is infrared — nothing is fired but light. Staff run the briefing, referee every mission and supervise the arena from start to finish.

SIX MISSIONS, EVERY SESSION

What they'll play.

Sixty minutes of game time, six missions, back to back. Teams switch sides halfway. This is our standard rotation and what almost every birthday plays — on a private booking you can reorder them or run the same one twice.

MISSION 01

Team Deathmatch

Two teams, 100 health, unlimited respawns. Most hits wins. The warm-up everybody understands instantly.

MISSION 02

Domination

Capture Dominator Pods across the arena. Shoot the centre to claim it for your colour and bank points.

MISSION 03

Hells Bells

A bell hangs over the marketplace and only registers from directly beneath it. Pure teamwork. Teams swap sides after.

MISSION 04

Elimination

One respawn each. Wipe the other team out completely — if anyone survives on both sides, it's a tie. This is where it gets quiet.

MISSION 05

Reaper

Shared team respawn pool — four per player. Run out and you're done. Suddenly the good players start protecting the little ones.

MISSION 06

Sniper

One health, unlimited respawns, scored on eliminations and accuracy. The closer — and always the loudest round.

HOW THE DAY RUNS

Start to finish.

20 minutes before — arriveWaivers signed, callsigns picked, lockers loaded. Pre-register everyone online and you can walk in right at your start time instead.
First 15 minutes — suit up & briefingVests on, headbands fitted, Valkyries issued and sized. Staff walk through the rules and the missions. Teams get set the way you want them.
60 minutes — six missionsBack to back, teams switching sides at the halfway point. Stats tracked live the whole way through.
Debrief — the leaderboardFull stats up on screen. Hits, accuracy, mission performance. This is the part they argue about in the car.

BIRTHDAY FAQ

Parent questions.

How many kids can I invite?+
Both packages include up to 10 players, and additional players are $25 each. For groups larger than 16 call 306-737-9952 and we'll work out the layout.
My kid is 8 — can they actually play?+
Yes, in a private session. Ages 6–12 use the Valkyrie loadout — a professional rifle at 3 lbs 4 oz with a full LCD display, built so smaller players can carry and aim it for a full hour. Same gear quality, same missions, right-sized. Public sessions stay 13+ because the 11 lb SMG is designed for older players.
Do the guests pay separately?+
No. Private bookings are a flat rate — the host pays once. We send you a sign-up link and your guests register themselves for free. No collecting money at the door.
Is it safe?+
Completely. The system is infrared — there are no projectiles of any kind. It's the same technology professional training facilities use worldwide. Staff run the briefing and supervise the entire session.
What should everyone wear?+
Comfortable athletic clothes and closed-toe shoes — sneakers, runners or boots. No sandals or open-toe footwear, no exceptions. A cap or sports headband is a good idea under the sensor headband. Expect them to sweat; it's a real workout.
Can I bring a cake and decorations?+
Yes — for the party room, which comes with the Colonel package. Cake, snacks, juice boxes and decorations are all welcome in your booked room. Pizza and 2L pop are ordered through us. No outside food or drink inside the arena itself.
Can we mix ages in one party?+
Yes, and most parties do. Younger kids take the Valkyrie, anyone 13 and up can take the IR SMG, and everybody plays the same missions together. Staff balance the teams so it stays fair.
What if we need to change the date?+
Bookings are non-refundable, but you get one reschedule at no charge with at least 48 hours notice — we'll move you to any available slot. Under 48 hours, or a second reschedule, we usually can't accommodate because slots are limited.
Do parents need to stay?+
A guardian signs the waiver for anyone under 18, and we ask that a parent stays on site for kids parties. There are viewing areas outside the arena, and staff run the briefing, the missions and the debrief.
